YOUR MEMBERSHIP ACCOUNT
As a user of this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. If you are under 18, you may use our website only with involvement of a parent or guardian. HURTBOX Ltd and its associates reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in their sole discretion.
HURTBOX STUDIO MEMBERSHIP (APPLICABLE TO ALL MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS)
When you join our family as a HURTBOX Ltd. member, we want to ensure the safety of you the rider and of our staff too. These rules aren’t here to catch you out but to ensure the smooth running of the studio.
All HURTBOX Ltd. memberships are on a month to month basis and may be paused for an agreed number of months or cancelled with at least 7 days notice, prior to the last calendar day of the current month by submitting your request via our Membership Requests web page (https://hurtbox.co.uk/membership-requests/). With less than 7 days notice, HURTBOX Ltd. reserves the right not to cancel or pause a membership for the following month and no refunds will be given.
If you pay for a monthly membership at HURTBOX Ltd. and cannot attend you are not entitled to a refund or extension. You are free to upgrade/downgrade your membership from month to month by choosing and paying for a different package. However this cannot be completed within the final 7 days of each calendar month. Cash membership payments are not accepted except as a one-off by prior agreement.
Your HURTBOX Ltd. VIP membership gives you access to unlimited sessions in the studio, our webinars/seminars, social rides and any events that we host at the studio. You’ll have access to our HURTBOX VIP group on Facebook reserved for our riders in the studio and our VIP Digest email which is sent out regularly to keep you in the loop on all that is going on at HURTBOX Ltd.
The HURTBOX Ltd. Peloton membership includes all that is included in the VIP membership except for unlimited sessions in the studio. This membership option is restricted to 4 sessions per month for each calendar month (48 sessions per year). In the case that extra sessions are required during the year, these must be paid for at a rate of £15 per session.
If you decide to cancel your membership or pause it and were on a offer/price we no longer advertise, you will not be entitled to this offer again if you decide to re-join HURTBOX Ltd.
Our goal is to have a open and friendly atmosphere at HURTBOX Ltd. We reserve the right to cancel any rider’s membership without refund in the case of rude or aggressive behaviour towards other riders or coaches in the studio, at any other HURTBOX event or during a HURTBOX social ride. Our Coaching and Support Team are vital to us and so protecting them is of the utmost importance. If you feel that any riders or coaches have been rude or aggressive to you, please let us know via emailing email@example.com and we will deal with the matter as a priority – happiness is HURTBOX Ltd, and we won’t accept anything less.
HURTBOX Ltd. members cannot cancel a class less than 6 hours prior to the start time of a session via our website online booking system or the Glofox mobile application. If they would like to notify us that they are unable to attend a class with less than 6 hours notice please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we will respond as soon as able (although this is not always possible).
We understand that every now and then you might need to cancel a session, however HURTBOX Ltd. VIP members are subject to our Strike Booking System to keep things fair for every member. If a rider books a class and misses that class without cancellation, or cancels less than 6 hours before that class start time, they will receive one strike. Receive two strikes in one calendar month and you will be unable to book for one week from the missed class date. We cannot have other members missing out on sessions because others are not attending.
HURTBOX Ltd. Peloton members are subject to the same Strike Booking System, however in addition to receiving a strike, they will also lose that session for that month if they cancel their booking within 6 hours.
We encourage early booking on all our classes however, if you are booking a session with less than 6 hours notice we encourage all members to email email@example.com with your session booking time to notify us that you have booked on. This is to ensure that the HURTBOX team know you will be attending and can prepare the studio for your arrival.
HURTBOX recurring memberships are charged on the 1st of each month. A membership may (with HURTBOX’s consent) be started in the middle of any month and will be prorated up until the last day of that current month. On the 1st day of the following month, the full month’s membership will be taken. HURTBOX reserves the right to not cancel or suspend any membership mid month and there will be no pro rata refunds. In the case of Peloton Memberships started mid month, the number of credits will also be prorated for that month, for example if it is the 10th calendar day of a month and a Peloton membership is started, only 3 credits would be applied to a new account. On the 1st of the following month, the usual 4 credits will be applied. Any credits not used up within the month will not be carried over into the next month and expire on the last day of that calendar month.
Well maintained bikes will last a lot longer and also be far safer when used in conjunction with our turbo trainers. HURTBOX does not accept any responsibility for any damages to your bike which occur through poor maintenance or through incorrect use of our equipment. Should your bike be incorrectly set up on our machines we take no responsibility for damages occurred.
We also advise that you check with your bike manufacturer prior to your first session that your bike is suitable for use on our turbo trainers – failure to do so may result in damage to your bike for which we do not take responsibility for.
HURTBOX reserves the right to use any photo or video footage taken in the studio (photos or video will only be taken with rider’s consent), or at any other HURTBOX event or HURTBOX social ride, and may be used on all social media outlets, emails and printed advertising material.
When you visit HURTBOX Ltd or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on this site. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
All content included on this site, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of HURTBOX Ltd or its content suppliers and protected by international copyright laws. The compilation of all content on this site is the exclusive property of HURTBOX Ltd, with copyright authorship for this collection by HURTBOX Ltd, and protected by international copyright laws.
HURTBOX Ltd’s trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service that is not HURTBOX Ltd, in any manner that is likely to cause confusion among customers, or in any manner that disparages or discredits HURTBOX Ltd. All other trademarks not owned by HURTBOX Ltd or its subsidiaries that appear on this site are the property of their respective owners, who may or may not be affiliated with, connected to, or sponsored by HURTBOX Ltd or its subsidiaries.
